This is a drop-in speaker for the PIKO Krauss-Maffei ML4000. The speaker is a press-fit and requires no modifications to install.
 
The stock speaker is a 4Ω driver with a lot of mid-range sensitivity. The SSS speaker is 8Ω with a deeper bass-response. Thus, the stock speaker will seem louder even though it's reproducing a narrower range. Volume adjustments may be desired.
