Professionally, I have been a recording and live audio engineer for 30 years. I have numerous Top 40 radio singles and Billboard charting albums to my credit and have toured the world with A-list artists and bands.

Personally, I have been a train fanatic since birth. I model in both N and HO scales with particular interest in the B&O/C&O/WM/Chessie railroads. I have a blog site dedicated to my personal modeling endeavors: jtburkesmodeltrains.sitelio.me. I am also a member of The Marion Model Railroad Club: www.marionmodelrailroadclub.org.

It only seems reasonable I would combine my love of audio and trains, thus Scale Sound Systems was born!
